Before you say anything about what I’m about to write, I will acknowledge that I always preach about moving forward, the past will kill ya; and I’m not here to dwell on the past but with the current state of the world, I think it’s worth a mention.
What better time to look back on the year than the unofficial start of the summer, the first long weekend of the pandemic, the phase one of opening back up.
This memorial weekend was quite a ride – and not just for the storms that rolled through the Tampa Bay.
It’s crazy to think that this time last year my life was so uncertain. I started at my first big girl job where I was learning what work place stress truly was, Tyler and I haven’t said I love you, my arm was still tattoo free (but MDW last year I did add a tattoo), we only had Nilly, I still had Ripley and Chip, and I was still living at home. What a year it has been.
With everything I wanted to accomplish, I never expected a pandemic to come crashing in.
I’m grateful for everything I have been able to do this year, I know 2020 is not going as planned but I’m grateful for where I am and I’m looking forward to see where I’ll end up this time next year.
